Boulanger Trio
The Boulanger Trio is a German piano trio named after the sisters Nadia and Lili Boulanger . It was founded in 2006 by the pianist Karla Haltwanger, the violinist Birgit Erz and the cellist Illona Kindt in Hamburg and has been based in Berlin since 2010. The trio is dedicated to the classical and contemporary repertoire and is internationally active with concerts and CD recordings.
Boulangerie concert series
Since 2012, the trio held in Berlin, Hamburg and since 2016 performed in Vienna Boulangerie -called concert and discussion series. The boulangerie program consists of pieces from the classical repertoire and works by a contemporary composer who will be present during the concert and talk to the three musicians about his work. The boulangerie takes place in Hamburg in the Elbphilharmonie , in the Wiener Musikverein and in Berlin in the Radialsystem and in the Konzerthaus .
