action

The series tells of the young Lanfeust, who can melt metal and consequently goes to the local blacksmith for an apprenticeship. One day he is supposed to repair the broken blade of a sword that belongs to the inflated knight Blaugold. When he touches the ivory handle of the weapon, a burst of energy throws him into the crucible - but he survives unharmed. The sage Nicolas, father of Lanfeust's fiancé, recognizes him as one of the few who know how to use the true power of the Magohamoth, a powerful mythical creature who is said to be responsible for the magical powers all over Troy. So the ivory must be part of its body. Lanfeust and Nicolas set out with his daughters C'ian and Cixi and the troll Hebus to find the Magohamoth ...

Characters

Lanfeust

Lanfeust is a young man from the village of Glinin with an innate ability to melt metal with the power of thought, who works as an apprentice for the local blacksmith. He is engaged to C'ian, the elder daughter of the sage Nicolas, while her younger sister Cixi above all annoys him all the time. After the first contact with the hilt of the sword of Knight Blaugold, the power of Magohamoth awakens in him, whereupon he and Nicolas go in search of the knight and his sword. He gets to know the troll Hebus, who soon becomes a good friend.
After the first meeting with the pirate Thanos, he develops more and more into Lanfeust's archenemy: the two men are the only ones who understand how to use the true power of the Magohamoth and keep clashing. The engagement to C'ian turns out to be premature during these adventures, he discovers that Cixi is much more like him. After Lanfeust finally finds the sword of the Blaugolds and later the Magohamoth itself, he becomes practically omnipotent.

C'ian

The down-to-earth and romantic older daughter of Master Nicolas is engaged to Lanfeust and accompanies him with her father and her wild sister Cixi on the search for the sword of the Blaugolds. The pretty blonde notices that she cannot make friends with some of the characteristics of her fiancé - and that he is not as averse to her sister as he claims.
After several experiences in which the knight Blaugold repeatedly expressed his love for her, C'ian finally breaks off his engagement with Lanfeust and marries the nobleman. C'ian's ability is healing, but always after sunset.

Cixi

As the younger daughter of Nicolas, the black-haired Cixi is much wilder than her sister C'ian. She prefers to use her ability - the manipulation of water - to annoy others, especially Lanfeust, and to get them into trouble. In reality, however, she is in love with him and envy her sister's engagement with him. However, she does not sulk, but actively tries to relax him. When her father rebukes her, she leaves the group and turns to Thanos.
She stands by the dictator's side for a while, but eventually realizes her mistake and helps defeat him. In the end, she gets her dream prince ...

Master Nicolas

Nicolas, father of C'ian and Cixi, is a sage from Eckmül. He recognizes the true power of the Magohamoth in Lanfeust's reaction to the sword of the Blaugold and sets off with him and his daughters in search of the Knight Blaugold. Later he enchants Hebus and leads the companions to Eckmül.
After defeating Thanos, Nicolas becomes the new Rev. von Eckmül and leads the reconstruction of the conservatory.

Hebus

The wild troll Hebus wants to eat Lanfeust and his friends for dinner, but Master Nicolas is able to enchant him after Cixi was able to stop him temporarily in a shallow water with a freeze spell. From then on he helps his friends on their adventures and over time develops into a real friend. Every now and then, especially after the excessive consumption of alcohol - that is measured in barrels - its wild troll side returns. If he then starts an argument, it quickly degenerates into a brutal brawl, in which most of the people involved (except Hebus of course) die or get away with several wounds and broken bones - despite his rough, if funny manner, Hebus is one in this state cruel, bloodthirsty beast. Apart from his enormous muscle strength and his preference for dragon placenta, he has no special (magical) power.

Thanos

Thanos, equipped with the ability to teleport , was once Eckmül's greatest hope; the first human ever to use the Magohamoth's true power. However, he was power-hungry and ruthless and was banished by the wise men - as a pirate he drove at sea while he waged campaigns against the other noble houses in the baronies in the guise of Lord Averroe.
After meeting Lanfeust, Thanos becomes more and more offensive, but after Lanfeust defeats him in the Baronies, he is defeated for the time being. However, with a trick he made the sword of Count Blaugold his own and took over power in Eckmül. As a brutal dictator with Cixi by his side, he tortures and oppresses the people and even kills his own brother who had turned against him. In the end Lanfeust, made almighty by the Magohamoth, can bring him down with the help of Cixi and Hebus. Then Thanos stews in a magic-insulated cell under the conservatory.

Knight blue gold

The son of Count Blaugold is very big when it comes to describing his heroic deeds, but although he is usually with zeal and courage in the cause, his fights are usually not very successful in practice. However, his love for C'ian drives him on again and again until he can finally prove his courage in the battle for Eckmül and win over his loved one.
