Long night of music

The Long Night of Music is a major event that takes place every year in Munich .

During the night there are over 400 live concerts , dance performances , cabaret performances and guided tours on the subject of music to choose from. In addition to bars and music clubs, venues such as dance schools, churches and well-known Munich cultural institutions such as the Gasteig serve as event locations . Basically all music genres are possible.

The first German Music Night in May 2000 in Munich was followed by music nights in other cities. In addition to the live music, most of the music nights have set up a shuttle bus system that transports visitors from one place to another. The event has over 20,000 visitors every year.
