The Langmuir Cove is a bay at the Loubet coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is at the northern end of the Arrowsmith Peninsula .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it on September 23, 1960 after the American chemist and physicist Irving Langmuir (1881-1957), who had studied the formation of snow .
