Wladimir Isaakowitsch Lanzberg

Vladimir Isaakowitsch Lantsberg ( Russian Владимир Исаакович Ланцберг ; born June 22, 1948 in Saratow ; † September 29, 2005 in Nuremberg , Germany ) was a Russian songwriter and poet.

After graduating from Saratov City Polytechnic in 1971, he worked as an engineer in a design office. In 1979 he moved to Tuapse , later to the Tyumensky settlement . He later lived in Moscow, and Lantsberg spent the last years of his life in Nuremberg .

Lantsberg started writing poetry as a child, and the first songs were written in primary school. In addition to his work as a poet and songwriter, one has to mention his involvement in the 2. Kanal , an independent festival of songwriters in Russia.
