Lars Lindner

Lars Hartwin Lindner (* 1972 ) is a German doctor and university lecturer. He is Professor of Oncology at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich .

Life

From 1992 to 1999, Lindner studied human medicine at the Georg-August University in Göttingen and the LMU Munich. In the following two years he was an intern at the Großhadern Clinic and received his license to practice medicine in 2001 . In 2002 he received his doctorate at the University of Göttingen with the thesis “Novel cationic lipids with free hydroxyl groups for oligonucleotide and plasmid DNA transfection in the presence of serum” prepared at the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry . In 2007 he was recognized as a specialist in internal medicine . From 2008 to 2011 he acquired additional qualifications in palliative medicine , hemostaseology , hematology and internal oncology . In 2008/2009 he completed a postdoc program at the Erasmus University Medical Center as a fellow of the Mildred Scheel Foundation . In 2010 he completed his habilitation in internal medicine with the thesis “Novel thermosensitive liposomes for tumor therapy”. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Sarcoma Conference .
