Apple Laserwriter II

The LaserWriter is a laser printer introduced by Apple in 1985 .

The first model was PostScript capable and one of the first laser printers for the mass market. With AppleTalk it could be used by up to 16 users at the same time. Together with the WYSIWYG technology of the Apple Macintosh and the PageMaker layout software introduced at the same time by Aldus Corporation , the LaserWriter was an essential tool for the desktop publishing that was emerging at the time .

The HP LaserJet HP 92295A cartridge was compatible with this device. Apple later stopped manufacturing printers.
