Last Wagon is an alternative rock band from Vienna , which was founded in April 2005.

The aim of the founding members was initially to take up and caricature current topics such as fine dust , frenzy, car frenzy and other transport and environmental issues in socially critical texts . After a short time, the first success became apparent: the decoration with the " VCÖ Mobility Prize 2005", for which the musicians had submitted their band project with the catchphrase "Awareness raising among young people". At the end of December 2005, a CD was produced at the request of the Federal Ministry for Education, Science and Culture , which is made available for traffic education in schools. During the recording the band was supported by "derherrpetz" from the band "Hog Meets Frog". In the songs "Feinstaub", "Unendlicher Splitt", "Freizeitspaß", "Vom langlich Dieben" and "Lärm", a young band presents itself with unusual themes and a music style that is reluctant to categorize itself. The concert premiere took place on December 16, 2005 in Vienna.
