Laubensteinalm

The Laubensteinalm is an alpine pasture in the Hohenaschau district of the municipality of Aschau im Chiemgau .

Two Kaser of the Laubensteinalm are under monument protection and are registered under the number D-1-87-114-126 in the Bavarian monument list.

Building description

The Falterkaser is a single-storey flat saddle roof building in block construction , which is marked with the year 1781.

The Piedlhütte is also a single-storey flat saddle roof building with quarry stone masonry , which was built in 1668. The roof of the Piedlhütte was renewed.

Other buildings on the Alm are a hunting lodge, the Lenzkaser and the Marchlkaser .

Todays use

The Laubensteinalm is used for agriculture and is open from May to September.

location

The Laubensteinalm is located below the Laubenstein at an altitude of 1300  m above sea level. NN . To the west of the Alm are the keyhole and Spielberg caves. A bear skeleton was found in the keyhole cave in 1933 and is exhibited in the museum in Frasdorf .
