Lauri Porra
Lauri Porra (born December 13, 1977 in Helsinki ) is a Finnish multi-instrumentalist, composer and singer.
His first instrument was the bass. He is the bass player for the power metal band Stratovarius . In addition, he worked with other bands such as Kotipelto , Warmen , Tunnelvision , Crazy World , and Ben Granfelt Band . In October 2005 he released his first solo album, Lauri Porra , named after himself . In 2018 he composed the soundtrack for the Finnish comedy film Heavy Trip . The Finnish composer Jean Sibelius is his great-grandfather, i. H. the father of Porra's grandmother.
