The Lauritz Gap is a mountain pass located about 350 m high in South Georgia . It lies northeast of Fleuret Peak on the Barff Peninsula .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named him in 2014 after the Norwegian Lauritz Edvard Larsen, who was the first manager of the whaling station at Ocean Harbor from 1909 .
