Law Racoviță Station
Coordinates: 69 ° 23 ′ 0 ″ S , 76 ° 23 ′ 0 ″ E
Law-Racoviță is the first Romanian Antarctic station. It was named after the Romanian naturalist Emil Racoviță , a participant in the Belgica expedition from 1897 to 1899, and is located in Princess Elizabeth Land in the Larsemann Hills . The research station opened on January 13, 2006.
