Lawful Drug

Lawful Drug ( Japanese 合法 ド ラ ッ グ , Gōhō Doraggu ) is a manga by the drawing team CLAMP . The work, which appeared in Japan from 2001 to 2003, can be assigned to the Shōnen-Ai genre. The series has been continued as Drug & Drop ( ド ラ ッ グ & ド ロ ッ プ , Doraggu & Doroppu ) since 2011 .

Kazahaya Kudo is found half frozen in the snow by the locked Rikuo Himura. He takes him to the pharmacy where he works for board and lodging. Kazahaya Kudo is also accepted there and so it turns out that they live and work together. In addition to their work, the pharmacy owner repeatedly gives them mysterious assignments that they can solve thanks to their special skills. Kazahaya's abilities are visions he gets when he touches objects or people. In this way, he learns a lot about Rikuo's life and becomes curious about what is behind his closed roommate.

The two young men really don't like each other, but they begin to be interested in each other's life. Due to the mysterious assignments of their boss, they repeatedly get into dangerous situations in which they depend on the help of the other. A side story is the pharmacist's relationship with a great stranger. This great stranger, Saiga, spends most of the time sleeping, preferably on Kakei's lap.

In 2001 the manga was published in Japan in the Monthly Shojo Teikoku magazine of the Kadokawa Shoten publishing house. After the magazine was discontinued in November 2001, the manga moved to Asuka magazine from the same publisher. In 2003 the story was broken off after three volumes. In December 2011, the series was continued in Young Ace magazine under the title Drug & Drop .

In German who published Carlsen publishing the three volumes of the first series from October 2004 to February 2005. In addition, published translation into Italian, Spanish, French and English.
