The Lawruschinski alley is an alley in the historic district Zamoskvorechye in the Central Administrative District of Moscow . It leads from the Kadashovskaya embankment of the water diversion canal to Grosse Tolmachovsky Gasse .

history

Lavrushinsky Lane was probably built in the 16th century as part of the village of Kadashovo. The first name of the alley was Popkowa Street, then Lavrowa Street; in the second half of the 18th century it was renamed Lavruschinski-Gasse after the widow of a rich businessman, Anisja Matweewna Lavruschina, who lived there. In 1851 her house was bought by the businessman Michail Sacharowitsch Tretyakov (father of Pawel Michailowitsch Tretyakov ). Lavruschinski-Gasse was first closed on the south side. In 1768-1772 the wooden buildings between Lavruschinski and Groß-Tolmatschowski were demolished, thus Lavrushinsky Street was extended by 100 to 400 meters and the two streets were connected. Buildings from the 17th - 21st centuries can be found on Lavruschinski-Gasse.

description

On the side with the odd house numbers are: the branch office of the European Commission , the residential building for the painter's widows (built over 1910-1912 / 1930-1931, now part of the Tretyakov Gallery ), where the families of Alexei Savrasov , Konstantin Pervukhin, Konstantin Sawizki , Vladimir Rossinsky and others lived; the elite residential building "Kadaschi" from 2007, the Surikow Art Institute Moscow (former school building from 1936) and the so-called "House of Writers". It was built in 1935-1937 in socialist classicism, damaged in 1941 as a result of the German air raid and built over and enlarged in the post-war period. The writers Konstantin Paustowski , Mikhail Prischwin , Weniamin Kawerin , Boris Pasternak , Anton Makarenko and many others lived here. On the cemetery belonging to the building is the boyar residential building (Russian Palati ) from the 17th / 18th centuries. Century.

The page with the even house numbers (including mansions from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries) belongs entirely to the Tretyakov Gallery. In 2016, the new corps of the gallery was set up here.

In 2013, Lavruschinski-Gasse was completely closed to car traffic and converted into a pedestrian zone.
