Leafvein Gulch ( English for Blattader gorge is) a 800 long ravine in the northeast of Vindication Iceland in the archipelago of the South Sandwich Islands . Your lower section is southwest of Braces Point .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named them in 1971 after the meltwater channels running through them , which are reminiscent of leaf veins .
