Leandro Díaz , full name Leandro Nicolás Díaz Baffico , (born March 24, 1990 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .
Career
society
At the beginning of his career, the 1.78 meter tall midfielder Díaz was a member of the youth team at least in 2007 and from the 2009/10 season to June 2013 the first division squad of Danubio FC . With the Montevideans he played 17 games in the Primera División in the 2009/10 season . He didn't score a goal. In the following seasons he ran in a total of nine other first division games. He did not score personally either (season: 2010/11: 1 game / no goal; 2011/12: 4/0; 2012/13: 4/0). In June 2013 he moved to Brazil to the Londrina EC . There are seven league appearances in Serie D for him, in which he scored a goal. In July 2014 he first joined the Uruguayan first division club Juventud , but from the end of September 2014 he continued his career in Chile with the second division club Deportes Melipilla . In the 2014/15 season he was used six times in the Segunda División and scored two goals. At the beginning of February 2015 he returned to Uruguay and joined the first division club El Tanque Sisley . There are nine league appearances (no goal) in the 2015 Clausura. In the 2015/16 season, he played 19 top division games and scored one goal. In mid-January 2017, he moved to Santiago Morning . With the Chileans he was used four times in the league and scored one goal. Since July 2017 he is back in the El Tanque Sisley squad.
National team
Díaz was a member of Ángel Castelnoble 's Uruguayan U-15 selection, which took part in the U-15 South American Championship in Bolivia in 2005 . He was a member of the Uruguayan U-17 national team and was part of the squad at the U-17 South American Championship in Ecuador in 2007 .
