Lebersdorf

Lebersdorf (also Lewersdorf ) was a village southeast of Alt Olvenstedt in what is now the area of ​​the city of Magdeburg . The approximate location should be in the vicinity of the coordinates 52 ° 9 ′ 11.2 ″  N , 11 ° 36 ′ 53.3 ″  E. Coordinates: 52 ° 9 ′ 11.2 ″  N , 11 ° 36 ′ 53.3 ″  E have found.

Lebersdorf, known as Lioboltesdorf , was first mentioned in a document in 937 . King Otto I gave Lebersdorf, among other goods, to the Mauritius monastery in Magdeburg. In 1015 the place became the property of the monastery of Our Dear Women in Magdeburg.

Lebersdorf was deserted in the Middle Ages, probably in the middle of the 14th century . Today the street name Lebersdorfer Straße in Magdeburg still reminds of the former village.
