liver spaetzle
Liver spaetzle are about as big as ordinary noodles , but consist of liver, egg, some flour and spices. Liver spaetzle can be consumed as a soup or as a stand-alone dish. The mixture from which liver spaetzle is made is similar to that of liver dumplings . The size, however, is extremely different.
Liver spaetzle as a plate dish and liver spaetzle soup are mainly found in Swabia , but are also popular in other regions in southern Germany and Austria .
