Lecho

Lecho (d. 805) was a Slavic prince in Bohemia .

In 805 a Frankish army under Charles the Younger moved to Bohemia and killed the dux Lecho.

In the 13th century, the Wielkopolska Chronicle describes a legendary forefather, Lech , who is said to have founded Poland .
