Maxim Nikolayevich Sheiko
Maxim Nikolajewitsch Scheiko ( Russian Максим Николаевич Шейко ; born April 14, 1988 in Cholmsk , Sakhalin Oblast ) is a Russian weightlifter .
Career
Scheiko was European Youth Champion in 2005 and Vice-Junior European Champion in 2007. In 2008 he won the title at the Junior World Championships. Among the active players, he first took part in the European Championships in 2012 and immediately won the silver medal in the class up to 105 kg in a duel. He also won gold in snatching and silver in pushing. At the European Championships in 2013 he again won silver in a duel as well as gold in snatch and bronze in pushing. In 2014, however, Scheiko tested positive for clomiphene during a training check and was banned for two years.
