Ledec from Ritschan

Ledec von Ritschan ( Czech Ledecký z Říčan ) was an old Bohemian noble family. The first reports come from the 13th century . They settled in the Ledetsch area in Okres Havlíčkův Brod . Under their rule, their mansion was raised to a town by King Ladislaus Postumus before 1458 and given an inheritance.

One of the most important personalities was Sigismund von Ledetsch , who was one of the leading personalities of the country under the rule of Přemysl Ottokar II , who was buried in St. Vitus Cathedral in 1220 .
