The Ledjanaja Buhta Gleba Vereshchagina ( English transcription of Russian ледниковая бухта Глеба Верещагина Lednikowaja Buchta Gleba Wereschtschagina , German , Gleb Vereshchagin Glacier Bay ' ) is a bay and the Shackleton Coast of the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It is located on the southwestern edge of the Darley Hills in the Churchill Mountains .
Russian scientists named them after the limnologist Gleb Jurjewitsch Vereschtschagin (1889-1944), who devoted himself to the exploration of Lake Baikal .
