Leemetikare is an uninhabited Estonian Baltic Sea island that is one of the Moonsund Islands .
Leemetikare is located about 200 m from Seanina, the northern headland of the Estonian island of Muhu . When the water level is high, the central part of the island is regularly flooded.
The island is rocky. Granite can also be found on it . Leemetikare is not forested, only a few bushes and other plants can be found there, including real sea kale . The fauna is rich with numerous nests of eider ducks and black-tailed gulls . Other birds on leemetikare are cormorants , black-headed gulls , common gulls and arctic terns .
Leemetikare administratively belongs to the municipality of Muhu .
