The Lehnberghaus is a private refuge in the Mieming chain . It is located at an altitude of 1554 m at the foot of the Wankspitze . The hut is open both in summer and in winter. In the cold season, a toboggan run also leads back to the Arzkasten inn.
Ascent
- from Arzkasten in approx. 1 hour
Tours
- Wankspitze (2,208 m) as a mountain hike in about 1.5 hours. Alternatively, a via ferrata leads to the summit in around 2.5 hours. The Wankspitze is also a popular ski tour in winter.
Transition to other huts
- Coburger hut over the Grünsteinscharte in approx. 3 hours
