location

Lying in the south of the Mieminger chain, the Wankspitze is a vantage point over the Inn Valley that is often climbed in summer and winter . In the north it is separated from the Griesspitzen by the Stötttörl , and in the south the Mieminger Plateau is directly connected .

rise

  • From the Lehnberghaus first in an easterly direction to Lacke and then north on the ridge to the highest point. This path is also chosen in winter as part of a ski tour.
  • Alternatively, a via ferrata leads from the hut to the north, until you come to the east to Stöttltörl, where the entry begins.
