from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Lehnitzsee

Lehnitzsee is the name for part of a Havel Bay near Potsdam that extends northwards . The northern area of this bay is called Krampnitzsee after the neighboring town . The connection to the Havel is given to the south via the Nedlitzer Alte Fahrt, which branches off from the Jungfernsee to the northwest.

Lehnitzsee and Krampnitzsee (LKS) with a length of 2.45 km are among the so-called other inland waterways of the federal government and belong to the federal waterway Untere Havel-Wasserstraße , for which the Brandenburg Waterways and Shipping Office is responsible.

To the west of the Lehnitzsee is the Potsdam district of Neu Fahrland .
