Lehtimäki [ ˈlɛhtimæki ] is a former parish in western Finland . In early 2009 it was incorporated into the city of Alajärvi .

Lehtimäki is located in the South Ostrobothnian landscape 29 kilometers south of the city center of Alajärvi. The former municipality of Lehtijärvi has an area of ​​288.8 km². The population was last in 1849. The community was monolingual Finnish - speaking .

Lehtimäki Church was built in 1800 according to plans by Jacob Rijf . It is a wooden church with a cross-shaped floor plan. The separate bell stack dates from 1835.
