Lei Gong

Lei Gong ( Chinese  雷公 , Pinyin Léigōng ) or Lei Shen ( Chinese  雷神 , Pinyin Léishén ) is the thunder god from the Chinese folk belief . He carries a hammer and chisel , symbols of thunder .

The god has the beak (in which fangs can be seen in some depictions), the wings and the feet of a bird . His wife, Dian Mu (mother of lightning) each carries a mirror in her hands. In doing so she takes care of the "accessories" of thunder, namely lightning .
