The morgue is on the premises of the LVR clinic in Düren in North Rhine-Westphalia . There are various listed buildings on the grounds of the clinic, which were built between 1874 and 1878 as part of the former Provincial Sanatorium.

The small brick building has neo-Romanesque shapes and a slate roof with a small turret. Inside, the building is a simple hall with barrel vaults and adjoining cold storage rooms .

The building is registered under No. 1 / 001m in the list of monuments of the city of Düren.
