The athletics community together or LG Zusam for short is an athletics community from northern Swabia in Bavaria . It was founded in 1977 and is an amalgamation of the athletics departments of the clubs TSV Lauterbach 1969 eV and TSV Wertingen 1862 eV. It is named after the river Zusam , which flows through the two places Wertingen and Lauterbach .

Due to the lack of a plastic circular track , the LG together is concentrating on the organization of cross-country events . In addition to several championships at district and district level, the Bavarian cross-country championships have already been held five times and once, in 1986, the German cross-country championships in the municipality of Buttenwiesen .

In 2012 Tobias Gröbl won the German championship in cross-country running wearing the LG Zusam jersey .

At the 48th International New Year's Eve Gersthofen 2014, Tobias Gröbl won for the fifth time in a row.

In 2015, Bettina Sattler also won the German cross-country championship in the W40 age group .

Another athlete from the ranks of the LG together is Wolfgang Haupt , in 1989 for Bayer Leverkusen , the German Championship in the 100-meter race won and 1993 in the four-man Vice European champion.
