Leif Hjernøe

Leif Hjernøe (born July 24, 1938 in Aarhus , Denmark ) is a Danish writer , translator and lecturer .

Hjernøe trained as a silversmith, which he completed in 1959. Until 1962 he was at the Aarhus Akademi. He then studied theology , art history , French and anthropology at Aarhus University .

His first novel, Entid lang (For a while) , was published in 1968. His most important novel to date, Rom Anno 1991 , was published in 1983. Hjernøe also works as a radio and television announcer.
