Loans (museum)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The lending is part of the organizational and administrative work in an Museum . Especially for special exhibitions , museum objects are temporarily given to another museum or an exhibition organization as loan items , for which a loan agreement is usually concluded.

Important sub-areas in the organization of loan transactions are the insurance and transport of the loan objects, their conservation and restoration care before, during and after the loan, as well as the documentation of the loan process.
