Performance evaluation

General overall impression

The performance evaluation extends to good personal posture and an orderly and cohesive demeanor, speed and endurance, body strength and body agility and sufficient fire-fighting and general knowledge and ability. The most important thing here is the group's promising collective effort, because the stronger helps the weaker.

For all tasks, not only the performance but also the overall impression is assessed. All five grades are added up and then divided by five. The group receives points for the average grade, which are divided as follows:

  • 0 points for inadequate / the group did not pass
  • 1 point for sufficient / the group has passed
  • 2 points for satisfactory / the group passed it satisfactorily
  • 3 points for good / the group passed well
  • 4 points for very good / the group passed very well

Valuation parts

The points of the respective scoring parts are entered in a scoring sheet by the respective judge. In each discipline, the group can achieve between zero and four points.

calculation

The points of the disciplines are added up, plus the number of points for the overall impression. If these add up to ten or more, the performance brackets are considered passed.

The group is eliminated:

  • if she has achieved less than 10 total points
  • if it got poor in the overall impression
  • if she has achieved 0 points in a discipline (the performance clip can be repeated after four weeks at the earliest)
  • if the total number of points is 10, but the group has been awarded 0 points in a discipline. (This discipline can be repeated at the same event. In the event of a 0-rating in the event of a fire-fighting attack or answering questions, the performance brackets evaluation can only be repeated after four weeks.)

tasks

The graduates have to complete five different tasks in a group.

Designing a hose line as a "speed exercise"

In the speed exercise, the group has to lay out eight double-rolled C-tubes one behind the other (total length 120 meters), each of which is coupled by two young people. The exercise begins behind the start line, the tubes are standing or lying on the floor. The group stands side by side a meter behind. The group leader receives the start signal and repeats this, then the group starts running and lays out the hose line. The exercise is over when the hose line has been laid out without twisting within 75 seconds and the group has positioned itself next to one another at the finish line.

Speed exercise

There are the following points to be achieved:

over 75 seconds 0 points
up to 75 seconds 1 point
up to 65 seconds 2 points
up to 60 seconds 3 points
up to 55 seconds 4 points

Shot put

In the shot put , everyone in the group has to hit the ball once, a two-step run-up is allowed. After each player has pushed, the ball must have traveled at least 55 meters. The male participants use a ball weighing 4 kg, the female a ball weighing 3 kg. The first participant pushes the ball from the start line, the second from the point where the first participant hit the ball, and so on. The last participant must have reached the 55 meter mark with his push for the task to be completed. Alternatively, throwing from a shot put ring is also possible. The distance achieved by the participants is added up.

There are the following points to be achieved:

less than 55 meters 0 points
up to 59 meters 1 point
up to 64 meters 2 points
up to 70 meters 3 points
over 70 meters 4 points

Relay race

In the relay race , the group has to run 1,500 meters, each of the nine participants has to run the distance once, how much each individual is covered by the youth fire brigade - taking into account the respective running strength - determines itself. After the first runner has covered his distance, he hands the relay stick to the next, who then runs his route and hands the relay stick back to the next and so on. When the last one has reached the 1,500 meter mark, 4 minutes 10 must not be exceeded for the task to be completed.

There are the following points to be achieved:

over 4 minutes 10 seconds 0 points
up to 4 minutes 10 seconds 1 point
up to 3 minutes 55 seconds 2 points
up to 3 minutes 40 seconds 3 points
up to 3 minutes 25 seconds 4 points

Fire fighting attack

Structure of the suction line

An extinguishing attack with water extraction from open water and the installation of three C-pipes, without assuming special locations, must be carried out according to FwDV 3. The fire fighting attack is carried out “dry”. There is a zero rating if it is theoretically not possible to deliver water to a pipe and if the fire-fighting attack was not carried out in accordance with the required FwDV 3 ("units in fire fighting "). In this task, the group is checked by three evaluators. The judge 4 (for fire fighting) the performance of each. The judge evaluates the entire group performance after hearing the individual judges of the team parts. If a zero score was given during the fire fighting attack, this may not be repeated. This means that the group failed the performance bar. The exercise has no time limit, but must be passed quickly.

Answering questions

All members of the group have to answer questions from the following areas:

  • organization
  • equipment
  • equipment
  • Extinguishing agent
