Youth flame

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The youth flame is proof of training in the form of a badge for youth fire brigade members in Germany and is divided into three levels. The general conditions specified by the German Youth Fire Brigade (DJF) can be partially varied by the state fire brigade associations . The badge can be provided with the name of the state .

execution

The acceptance of the youth flame is organized by the state youth fire brigades. Acceptance of participants from other federal states is possible and desirable. For this reason, the conditions of the individual levels must be closely aligned so that they do not differ too much from those of other federal states. The individual levels are recognized across national borders. However, they can be acquired several times in different federal states.

Award

The acquisition of the individual levels of the youth flame is confirmed with a stamp in the membership card. The badge is worn on the left breast pocket of the training suit and may continue to be worn on the service suit even after transferring to the operational department. The youth flame consists of three different badges of the same shape with different flame colors.
