Performance value (energy industry)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The power value is in the energy industry a measure of the removed electrical power .

A load profile counter determines the average power consumed and thus the load profile for every quarter of an hour . The highest measured value within a billing period is included in the electricity bill as the performance value.

Since a load profile meter is quite expensive, a standard load profile is assumed for customers with low consumption in order to determine the power value.
