Leitz Pradovit Color 110

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Pradovit Color 110 was the name of the automatic projector from Ernst Leitz GmbH in Wetzlar for the pocket format 110 (12 × 15.8 mm), which came onto the market in 1974.

He had a new compact magazine 110 , Agfa-Leitz system, in a round design. This construction was apparently based on the magazines of the Kodak carousel projectors. The outer slide format is 3 × 3 cm. The magazine held up to 60 slides. The slides in the magazine were secured against falling out.

The dark pause was given as 1.3 seconds.

The device was offered with the high-performance Colorplan 110 50 mm f / 2.5 and the Elmaron 45 mm f / 2.8. The Colorplan had four free-standing lenses.

The newly developed halogen cold light ellipsoid lamp with 12 V / 75 W was specially developed for the 110 format. It burned for 50 hours. The lamp centering happened automatically.

A condenser-free cold light illumination resulted in a light output of 320 with the Colorplan and 250 usable lumens with the Elmaron . The picture window temperature was below 70 ° C.
