Lency Montelier

Lency Montelier (born February 13, 1971 ) is a former Cuban hurdler who specialized in the 400-meter distance .

In 1991 she won the Pan American Games in Havana and was eliminated from the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo in the preliminary stages. The following year she won the Ibero-American Championships.

In 1993 she won silver at the Central American and Caribbean Athletics Championships and won the Central American and Caribbean Games .

In 1995 she won bronze at the Pan American Games in Mar del Plata with her personal best of 55.74 s and triumphed at the Central American and Caribbean Championships. The following year she won the Ibero-American Championships.
