Lene Moyell Johansen

Lene Moyell Johansen (* 1968 ) has been Denmark's incumbent ombudswoman in the Faroe Islands since 2017 and studied law.

Life

In 2003 Johansen did her Master of Law. From 2003 to 2004 she was department head of the state government in Roskilde. From 2003 to 2008 she was an external tutor at the University of Copenhagen and from 2004 to 2008 she was a teacher at Gideonskolen in Vallensbæk . From 2008 until 2011 she was head of department in the High Commission for the Faroe Islands, then until 2016 special advisor, then until 2017 senior legal advisor to the high commission. From 2009 to 2014 she was legal advisor for Faroe Islands legal assistance. 2015 to 2016 external tutor for child law at the University of the Faroe Islands and from 2016 to 2017 external tutor for divorce law. In 2017 she replaced Dan Michael Knudsen as ombudsman.
