Lenin Monument (Zaporizhia)

The 19.80 meter high bronze sculpture with a granite base was, since the destruction of the Lenin Monument on Freedom Square in Kharkiv , temporarily the largest Lenin monument in Ukraine and was located on Lenin Square at the beginning of Sobornyj Prospect (the former Lenin Prospect), one of the longest inner-city streets in Europe.

On March 17, 2016, at 1:15 p.m., the monument was lifted from its base and removed with the help of a crane.
