The Lennox King Glacier is a 65 km long glacier on the Shackleton Coast of the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It flows from the Bowden Firnfeld in a north-easterly direction between the Holland Range and the Queen Alexandra chain and flows into the Ross Ice Shelf via Richards Inlet .
The glacier was named after Lieutenant Commander James Lennox-King (1914-2002) of the Royal New Zealand Navy , head of Scott Base in 1960 , by participants in a 1959-1960 campaign as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition .
