Lenny Dee
Lenny Dee (Leonardo DiDesiderio) is an Italian - American hardcore techno producer and DJ and as such one of the main pioneers of the genre.
Career
In 1984 he started working as a DJ. Over the years he has released various records, including together with the technology legend Frankie Bones .
In 1989 Lenny's fame went from being a little New York DJ to a world-renowned producer and DJ. During the 1990s he was named "Best Worldwide Techno DJ" and "DJ of the Year" several times.
He has played at all known events: be it the Mayday , the Love Parade or various street parades.
Lenny Dee founded the hardcore techno label Industrial Strength Records in 1991 .
The end of 1997 / beginning of 1998 he was in Germany in a TV commercial for the " Magix - to see to for his Artistpool Lenny Dee" Sample - CD-ROM to advertise. In the spot in which his track “Forgotten Moments” (1997) was used, Lenny plays his record (s) as a DJ in front of several club-goers.
