Leo Award

The Leo Award is an award given to film and television productions from British Columbia , Canada . The prize has been awarded since 1998 in the categories series, drama, documentary, lifestyle series, reality format, talk show, animation, youth program, web series, music video or student project. Sometimes there are several detailed awards per category. In 2010 it was awarded for 75 different categories. The importance of the award is demonstrated by the size of the film industry in British Columbia: 20,000 people work in the field. It will turn over $ 1.2 billion.
