Leominster and Bromyard Railway

The Leominster and Bromyard Railway was a British railway company based in Herefordshire , England .

By the Worcester, Bromyard and Leominster Railway , the concession to build a railway line between Bromyard and Leominster was not used until 1869 . On July 30, 1874, the Leominster and Bromyard Railway was founded to connect the two cities. The 19 kilometer long railway line was opened on March 1, 1884. In Leominster there was a transition to the Shrewsbury and Hereford Railway . The operation took place since the beginning by the Great Western Railway , which took over the company on July 1, 1888.
