Leonhardus feast
Leonhardus Schmaus (late 15th to early 16th century in Salzburg) was an Austrian doctor.
Live and act
We only know about Leonhard Schmaus that he lived in Salzburg from the end of the 15th to the beginning of the 16th century and wrote a treatise there on syphilis. On the grounds that the disease was cured by American guaiac wood , he stated that the syphilis came from America.
