Leonhardt Herrgott (* late 15th century; † around 1540 in Zwickau ) was a German wood sculptor.

Leonhardt Herrgott (born as Leonhard Beier) was a picture carver in Zwickau and was a contemporary of Peter Breuer . His creative time in Zwickau lasted from 1505 to 1534. More than 15 altars and figures in West Saxony and East Thuringia are attributed to him. a. the altars in Crossen , Langenhessen , Hirschfeld and Fraureuth . The latter is now in the museum in the upper castle in Greiz .

Individual figures can also be found in the Zwickau “municipal museum”.

Unfortunately, nothing more is known about his birth and death dates.
