The Leonteq AG is a Swiss company based in Zurich . It specializes in structured investment products and insurance solutions in the finance and technology sector, both as an issuer of its own products and as a partner to other financial institutions. Leonteq's derivative investment products and services mainly include the product classes of capital protection, yield optimization and participation. Other significant shareholders are Rainer-Marc Frey with around 12.2% of the capital, Lukas Ruflin Familienbeteiligungen with around 8% of the capital and Sandro Dorigo with almost 2.5% of the capital of Leonteq.

Leonteq is headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, and is regulated by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority together with its subsidiary Leonteq Securities AG, which has another location in Geneva . Leonteq Securities AG has branches in Guernsey and Amsterdam.

The company enters the European market through its subsidiary Leonteq Securities (Europe) GmbH, which is based in Germany and has branches in London and Paris. Leonteq also operates a subsidiary in Monte Carlo, Leonteq Securities (Monaco) SAM.

Leonteq was founded in 2007 as EFG Financial Products Holding AG. The company went public in October 2012 and renamed it Leonteq AG in 2013.
