Leontius of Byzantium (theologian)
Leontius von Byzantium (* in Constantinople ) was a Byzantine theologian who lived and worked in the 6th century AD.
Life
Not much is known about his life. We know that he lived in a Nestorian congregation when he was young . Many other facts are not always to be regarded as certain, since his name was often confused with others and thus different biographies were mixed up and wrongly assigned to a single person. The scope of his work cannot therefore be precisely determined. For some works, however, his authorship is considered to be secured.
