Leopold Popp

Leopold Popp (born March 10, 1909 in Heidenreichstein , † February 29, 1972 in Waidhofen an der Thaya ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and knitwear manufacturer. From 1959 to 1969 Popp was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

Popp attended elementary, middle and middle school and was an intern in the textile sector from 1927. 1934 Popp made as Strickereibetreiber independently , during the Second World War, he had to do his military service in 1940, where he fell into British captivity, from which he only returned 1946th After the war, Popp was involved as a local councilor from 1955 to 1958 and held various party and chamber functions.
