Learning with moving pictures

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Learning through moving pictures can be more fun and more efficient at the same time. Our sensory organs, eyes and ears, take in information in their usual way and pass them on to our short-term memory as "real impressions". The negative influences of television are undisputed and have also been supported by many studies. The same mechanism of action can be used in e-learning for conscious and responsible learning. With the social cognitive learning theory of Albert Bandura one was didactic model developed that shows how learning can succeed through observation. It was found that the model does not have to be physically present. A designed sequence ( scene with actors) achieves the same effect.

Designed audiovisual sequences

  • raise awareness through movement
  • arouse emotions through the effects of colors, music, noises and pitches
  • can create a dramaturgy and logic through the famous "red thread" that is perceived as real life
  • can create a situation according to the script in a way that only very few people would happen in its pure form.
