Les Goudes is a quarter ( French : Quartier ) of the southern French city ​​of Marseille in the Bouches-du-Rhône department . Les Goudes belongs to the 8th arrondissement (city district) and the canton of Marseille-La Pointe-Rouge . In 2006 the quarter had 235 inhabitants.

The quarter is south of the city center. The Massif de Marseilleveyre begins at Les Goudes as part of the Calanques National Park . It used to be called Marseilho-Veïre . This could mean old Marseille , but also a view of Marseille . In the 1990s and 2000s, Les Goudes developed into an upscale neighborhood.

Les Goudes is also mentioned in the song Dimanche aux Goudes by Massilia Sound System, a popular reggae band from Marseille, as well as in the Marseille trilogy written by Jean-Claude Izzo .
